Q2 offers the full range of quantitative and qualitative research: statistical analysis, questionnaire construction, interviews, focus groups, life histories, and more. Q2’s personnel bring training from psychology, sociology, anthropology, political science, and statistics, hence assuring the client of wide-ranging expertise.
While Q2 uses all the standard research techniques, we also go beyond them. Individuals may not be able to articulate some of their deepest preferences and most basic presuppositions. But these underlying ideas can be discovered by watching what they do – by attending to both behavior and speech. So, as need be, Q2 extends its efforts to techniques such as fieldwork, videotaping, and even the microanalysis of speech patterns and facial expressions. The most important point, however, is that Q2 offers sound judgment about research methods. We find the right tool for the task at hand.
