Community Service Council of Greater Tulsa
East Tulsa Prevention Coalition Evaluation Report / Community Service Council (Tulsa, OK). 2006-07. Q2 worked with the Community Service Council to evaluate its drug use prevention projects. It designed questionnaires and analyzed a wide range of data sources. For example, Q2 helped design a questionnaire to assess the effect of the 2007 Oklahoma House Bill 1804 - a bill focused upon illegal immigration -- on immigrant families.
Family and Children’s Services, Inc. (Tulsa, OK)
Co-Occurring Disorders within the CO-PACT Model / Family & Children's Services, Inc. (Tulsa, OK). 2004- . FCS operates a team that works with individuals who have co-occurring substance abuse and mental health disorders, helping with housing and other needs. Q2 provides evaluation of this program as well as data management services.
CSAP Community-Initiated Prevention Intervention Study, "Family and Schools Together Program" / Family and Children's Services, Inc. (Tulsa, OK) and Head Start. 2003-04. Q2 evaluated the success of this three-year early childhood intervention program. The program focuses upon parenting education, substance abuse prevention education, and parent group counseling. Q2 employed a control group design and subsequent extensive statistical analysis of data from child caregivers.
Healthy Marriage Project Evaluation / Family and Children's Services, Inc. (Tulsa, OK). 2007-. Q2 is evaluating a Healthy Marriage project funded by the Administration for Children and Families. The evaluation is focused on tracking participants in marriage improvement workshops, assessing attitudinal and behavioral changes over time.
Targeted Capacity Expansion Grants for Jail Diversion Programs / Family and Children's Services, Inc. (Tulsa, OK). 2003-05. Q2 tracked the progress of an innovative jail diversion program for several thousand individuals who had come into contact with the Tulsa County criminal justice system.
Trauma-Focused Treatment in Children / Family and Children's Services, Inc. (Tulsa, OK). 2003-2007. Q2 evaluated a program operated by FCS that tested a trauma-focused treatment methodology for children.
Mental Health Association in Tulsa
Adolescents at Risk / Mental Health Association in Tulsa. 2005-. Using the Columbia TeenScreen protocol, the Mental Health Association screens hundreds of students in area schools for warning signs of suicidal propensities and other mental health issues. Q2 provides evaluation services and organizational advice to the Association regarding this project.
SafeTeam School Safety Program / Mental Health Association in Tulsa. 2007. Q2 conducted an evaluation of the Association's student and faculty SafeTeam programs within several Tulsa area high schools. These programs are designed to involve the entire school community in monitoring and intervening in student problems that could escalate into violence. The goal was to assess both the fidelity of program implementation and program outcomes in order to suggest improvements and to inform funding efforts.
Operation Aware, Oklahoma
Prevention and Peer Influence / Operation Aware, Oklahoma. 2003-04. Operation Aware offers programs in northeastern Oklahoma classrooms, teaching students how to make positive decisions and to deal with negative peer influence. The goal is to assist in the prevention of both juvenile delinquency and substance abuse. Q2 evaluated the effectiveness of Operation Aware's curricula at eight different grade levels.
Resonance Support Center for Women
Resonance RAISE Evaluation Report / Resonance Center for Women (Tulsa, OK). 2006-2007. Q2 conducted an evaluation of RAISE -- Resonance Aftercare for Improving Self-Efficacy -- a support program for formerly incarcerated women. RAISE clients participated in focus groups convened by Q2 staff to assess the effectiveness of the program in reuniting formerly incarcerated mothers with their children.
Tulsa Housing Authority
Resident Services Delivery Model (A ROSS grant) / Tulsa Housing Authority (THA). 2006-2008. This program, funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, provides case-management, trainings, referrals, and other services to clients in subsidized housing. Q2 evaluated the delivery of eviction prevention services, including validating numbers of clients served and making suggestions for service delivery. Q2 also evaluates several other HUD projects for THA including the Homeownership Supportive Services and the Family and Homeownership grants.

Analysis of Asset Use Surveys / YMCA of Greater Tulsa. 2006. Q2 produced reports based upon information that the YMCA had gathered about its own programs. The information included demographic information and feedback from program participants.
Camp CATCH-and-GO Club performance assessment / YMCA of Greater Tulsa PEP Grant. 2007-. Q2 assessed the success of a PEP-funded after-school fitness program at several schools.

Associated Centers for Therapy, Oklahoma
Organizational Needs Assessment, Associated Centers for Therapy (ACT), Oklahoma. 2004. Working with ACT's Board, Q2 helped design a community needs assessment to guide ACT's development of new programs and services.
Euchee (Yuchi) Tribe of Indians
Community Needs Assessment, Euchee (Yuchi) Tribe. 2007-08. With funding from the Administration for Native Americans, Q2 worked with the Euchee tribe to design and administer a community needs assessment. It also analyzed findings in order to contribute to the preparation of a Euchee community strategic plan.
Hu-Med
Communication between Oncologists and Patients / HuMed Support Services (Tulsa, OK). 1998-99. Q2 conducted focus groups with cancer patients and with oncology nurses in order to help develop better communication between oncologists and patients. The goal was to improve the level of patient satisfaction with physicians and treatment.
National Institutes of Health
Determining the Cost of Homelessness / City of Tulsa, OK. 2007. Integrating data from several sources, Q2 estimated the annual public costs associated with helping chronically homeless individuals. It compared these costs to those associated with subsidized housing. The research was presented to local policy-makers and a national conference.
Oklahoma State Department of Health, HIV/STD Services
Rapid Ethnographic Community Assessment Process (RECAP) / Oklahoma State Dept. of Health HIV/STD Service. 2000. Q2 managed a statewide Rapid Ethnographic Community Assessment Process, supported by the Centers for Disease Control. This process included a survey of knowledge and attitudes of Oklahoma citizens pertinent to STDs and HIV/AIDS. Q2 constructed survey instruments and analyzed responses from community members and service providers to help guide Department of Health responses to rising rates of syphilis and HIV.
Pennsylvania State and Colorado State Universities
Farm Land Use in Osage County Oklahoma / Pennsylvania State and Colorado State Universities. 1998-99. Q2 recruited and interviewed thirty farmers from Osage County Oklahoma about the history of their land use. The project was funded by the National Institutes of Health.
Quapaw Tribe of Oklahoma
The Historic Quapaw Subsistence Economy / Quapaw Tribe of Oklahoma. 2005. Q2 prepared an annotated bibliography and summary of printed and archival material relevant for understanding the historic Quapaw economy in northeast Oklahoma.
Striegel and Associates
Software and Web Resources for Entrepreneurial Adolescents / Striegel and Associates, Inc. (OK). 1998. Q2 conducted focus groups with adolescents and young adults. The goal was to help build software/web resources for entrepreneurial adolescents.
Tulsa City/County Department of Health
Ethnicity and Tobacco Use / Tulsa City-County Department of Health. 2002. Tulsa's Health Department wished to design anti-tobacco use campaigns, supported by the 1998 settlement with tobacco companies. Q2 convened six focus groups to investigate African-American, Native American, and Hispanic understandings of tobacco and its uses. After analyzing interview transcripts, Q2 identified salient cultural themes and recommended educational strategies likely to be effective for each ethnic group.
Tulsa County Juvenile Justice Bureau
Data Tracking for Probation Outcomes / Tulsa County Juvenile Justice Bureau. 2006- . Q2 is working with the Bureau to study the trajectories of local juvenile offenders and to help in identifying more and less successful treatment programs. Q2 is also designing a recidivism- tracking process for the Bureau.
University of Tulsa
Student Reasons for Attending the University of Tulsa / University of Tulsa. 2000-01. Q2 organized focus groups of freshman students to probe their reasons for choosing to attend the University and their initial responses to University life. The goal was to assist the institution's student recruitment and retention campaigns.

Preliminary utilization study of Vidoop's internet security protocol / Vidoop LLC (Tulsa, OK), an online-identity security firm. 2006. Q2 developed and administered a satisfaction survey for an online trial of one of the firm's initial products.
